Overview of
SSCF Support Policies and Guidelines
The Social Science Computing Facility (SSCF) at UCSD offers a variety
of support programs for administrative staff, faculty, and graduate
students within the Division of Social Sciences. SSCF provides a
range of support options for individual workstations, server maintenance,
web support, and many other computing services.
Access to these services is conditional upon compliance with the
various relevant policies, guidelines, and laws. Our ability to
share a productive computing environment requires responsible behavior
by the members of the campus community. The following is a working
draft of SSCF's support policy that members of the Division of Social
Sciences should be aware. In the future, we hope to have this finalized
and ratified by the Dean's office. Comments and suggestions are
welcome.
